About Spawn · Make Games with Words

What Spawn is, under all the buzzwords

The short version

Spawn is a way to make games by talking.

You describe a world, some rules, maybe a terrible idea for a boss fight. Spawn turns that into a playable browser game you can run with friends. You keep chatting, it keeps reshaping the game around you.

For the robots and search results:

Spawn is a chat‑based, AI‑powered game maker for creating and playing multiplayer browser games from natural‑language prompts, no coding required.

Why we're doing this instead of sleeping

Most people who care about games will never ship one. Engines are heavy. Life is busy.

We wanted a tool that felt like a 3am Discord call about game ideas — except the ideas quietly become real, playable things while you're talking.

Spawn is our attempt to make game dev feel like play again: fast, collaborative, forgiving, and a little bit unhinged.

AI is the crew, not the auteur

  • Spawn does grunt work: wiring inputs, spawning enemies, iterating on levels.

  • You do the taste: what the game is about, what it feels like, why anyone should care.

  • Multiplayer means you can argue about all of this inside the game with other humans, which is the fun part anyway.

If a feature doesn't make it easier to "make a game with words" (and then drag friends into it), it's not a Spawn feature.
